From Housing to Healing — A Mission Rooted in Recovery, Reunification, and Resilience
“I came here broken. I’m leaving whole. I got my kids back, and I got myself back too.”
— GP SUDs Resident
GP SUDs Recovery Foundation began with a simple but powerful belief:
People don’t use substances because they’re broken—they use them because they’re hurting.
As a former foster parent, our founder saw the deep impact addiction had on families. Determined to break that cycle, she transitioned from providing housing to creating community-based recovery homes that focus on healing from the inside out.
What started as a single recovery home in Corpus Christi Texas is now a growing network of family-style homes serving over 50 individuals on their journey to long-term sobriety and family restoration across multiple cities.

“This house gave me sisters, structure, and the support I needed to stop numbing the pain and start healing it.”
— Peer Support Specialist, GP SUDs
We are not just housing providers—we are family builders. Whether someone is working to reunite with their children after CPS involvement, or simply reconnecting with their parents or community, we provide the space, structure, and support to do it.

Every person we help recover becomes a seed of strength for their family and their neighborhood. That’s why we serve not only our residents—but the entire community around our homes.
“It’s not just about quitting. It’s about becoming someone my kids can be proud of.”
